Pain and Wasting Associated with HIV/AIDS
A study published in the Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome examined the effects of smoked medical marijuana and ingested cannabis via Dronabinol, a cannabis-based pharmaceutical and its impact on HIV positive patients. The results showed that daily caloric intake increased for all patients using cannabis, as well as positive increases in mood.
