Canna-Hearty Breakfast Recipe
Here’s what you’ll need before you get started:
Ingredients & supplies
- Cannabutter (as desired for waffles and grease)
- Turkey bacon & turkey sausage
- Eggs (2 eggs per person)
- Waffle mix (Kodiak or preferred mixes)
- Avocado oil
- Salt & pepper
- Orange juice
- Waffle iron
- Measuring cup
Whisk eggs into a small bowl, cracking as many eggs as desired. You can add some milk for added texture and taste. Stir eggs and milk together then set aside. *Cook eggs last.*
Using your measuring cup, scoop one cup of waffle mix into a large bowl and add a ¾ cup of water with 1 tablespoon of avocado oil. Additional eggs not required. Stir bowl contents thoroughly.
Heat up waffle iron while you cook your turkey sausage and bacon over an oiled, medium pan over medium heat. Flip sausages and bacon after 2-3 minutes or until crispy.
Once waffle iron is heated, grease the iron with cannabutter then add a ¼ cup of your waffle mix.
Lastly, cook your scrambled eggs with a tablespoon of cannabutter in a different pan. When cooked thoroughly, place eggs on a plate with your bacon and sausage. Watch your waffle iron for the green light as well.
